a.    Exterior with direct exposure to the elements

b.    Installed on the interior side of any existing glass window

b.    some privacy is desired but transparency is also important such as for a room divider

c.    Richer/darker/solid  colors are preferred

d.    Prefer lighter colors that transmit light
