A thing of beauty from roadside waste!

These fused glass bowls contain about one recycled beer bottle fused with sheets of window glass.  Every one is a little bit different.

They were originally inspired by looking for a way to reclaim glass from old windows and the beer bottles routinely thrown on our front lawn at night.

Recycled beer bottles are fused on 10" round glass

and then slumped over a mold forming a bowl that is a good size for nuts, candies, or nicknacks. They are a great conversation piece.

Our standard poplar frame comes 1 1/2 " wide assembled with screws to allow for disassembly if ever required.   The example shown here has been painted green to match the background in the panel.

A close up view of one corner shows the screws used that provide sturdy construction while providing for easy disassembly if the there is ever a need to repair the panel or change the frame.

On a typical 24" by 36"  this frame is approximately a $30 value.
