We offer our own basic wood framing of larger sized panels. They simplify handling, add strength, and are painted to augment the colors and theme of the particular piece.
The basic frames are 1 ½” wide by ¾” thick poplar. Poplar is selected because it is amongst the best hardwoods at accepting paint finishes.
Our standard wood frame prices are based on poplar construction. Substitutions or upgrades can be made for other types of wood that can be obtained locally. There is an additional surcharge based on the relative cost of the wood. Wood prices fluctuate widely based on season and availability. Wood surcharges will be established at time of order placement.
